The main object of the school is to help the students to achieve academic excellence, develop creative habits, imbibe a sense of social responsibility and visualize and actualize Swami Vivekananda's idealism “education is the manifestion of perfecttion already in man". Our Kakdwip Academy is a very old school but keeping in mind the demands of the society and having the children constantly encouraged, for their natural sense of discovery and exploration being enkindled, their imagination and thinking being fine-tuned so that from their earliest years they will cultivate such skills, virtues and qualities that make them valuable contributor to the society they live in.

Character building is the ultimate aim of the school. Student's physical growth and mental maturity, moral strength and spiritual preparation especially Swami vekenanda's ideas about education are sought to be applied.
